About Me.

I'm Mark Unthank, A young, fresh freelance webdeveloper with an eye for everything new and exciting on the world wide web.
I just love simplicity and beauty when they combine effortlessly to provide some of the most amazing products that you will ever see.

I believe that web, is an art that definitely needs more attention as an artform than it currently gets, the internet has revolutionised the way the world works; without the internet, business would still be local. Multi-Million Dollar companies such as eBay and Google are based entirely on the web and are arguably the foundation of modern life.

Face it, without YOUR web 'abode', you're missing out. But not just anything will do, have you ever been on a website and been so confused or found the design so ugly that you couldn't bear but to just point your browser away?
That is webdesign from a corporate, or 'oh that will do' point of view. What I aim for is something that is pleasing to look at and navigate, something out of the ordinary is not always necessarily the best it can be.
Familiarity is also something that we take for granted. And can be played with to our advantage. For example, a small feature with the design of this site you're on now. This box doesn't need to be labeled as "The content box" because the arrows that are seperated are pointing towards the content. That is your subconcious playing on my team. Web is an artform.

Web is an artform which should be admired.
